Homework Challenge - Week 4 "The Hangi"

Hi Room 1, Here are some photos of the Hangi we had on Friday. It was great, wasn't it? Can you tell your Mum and Dad what happened during school time with the Hangi? What was the first thing that the men did? Then what did they do after that...? Ask Mum or Dad to record what you tell them in the form of a comment.

    There was a fire. They put hot concrete stones in the hole. They put food into the great hole and then they covered it with dirt. Before they put the dirt on top they put wet blankets/stuff on top of the food first.
