Science in the Kitchen!!

Today for Topic we made a pikelet mixture and then cooked the pikelet mixture into pikelets. We observed what happened while it was cooking. We also noticed all the differences there were before we cooked it and afterwards too. Then we got to eat our pikelets and describe what they were like!!

Homework Challenge - Week 6

Dear Room 1, This week your homework challenge is to comment on the Pasta experiment we did on Tuesday. Can you tell you Mum or Dad about it.
Hint: We ccoked up 4 different lots of pasta. In the first lot we added salt, in the second lot we added baking soda, in the third lot we added sugar and in the last all we had was water.

Can you answer the following questions:

What pasta did you like the best?
What one did you like the least?
What are some words to describe what the pasta was like before we cooked it and some words to describe what it was like after we cooked it.
