Miss Mansell has a friend who has found a pond with tadpoles in it. Miss Mansell will get these tadpoles this weekend. Room 1, your job is to ask your parents or someone who you think would know: What do tadpoles like to have in their tank? and what do they like to eat? Post your comment.
Jack says they eat leaves, sister Alice says "Water?- I don't know", mum says "mmmm, maybe small water insects?". Alice says they eat water algae. :-)

ReplyDeleteI think they need some oxygen weedy stuff to put oxygen in the water so they can breathe.
ReplyDeleteWhatever they eat will have to be pretty small.
I hope you get lots of frogs to release back in to the pond.
