Every Wednesday afternoon Room 1 has discovery. This is where there are different activities children can participate in. It is a time to learn and discover through "structured play."It also is a time where students can put into practise the key competencies of the NZ curriculum: Managing Self, Participating & Contributing, Thinking, Using Language, Symbols & Text and Relating to Others.
Today the children could choose to do a colourful painting by mixing red, yellow and blue paint.
or
They could work together with each other, the cars and the blocks to
make a joint town.
